What is the JTF Translation Festival?

It is the largest translation and interpretation event in Japan dedicated to translators, interpreters, translation and interpretation companies, client companies, tool vendors, machine translation researchers and engineers.

This event originated in 1989 as a commemorative event to celebrate UNESCO’s designation of September 30th as “International Translation Day.” Following the UN General Assembly’s resolution to officially recognize September 30th as the “International Translation Day,” JTF has also proclaimed September 30th as the “Translation Day” in Japan, subsequently certified by the Japan Anniversary Association in May, 2019.
